About velocity

The explanation of the relationship between the various speeds on the Internet is too complicated, so I have made a simple and understandable summary about this.

Angular velocity ω\omega [rad/srad/s]: The angle of rotation in unit time.

ω=ϕt=2πT=2πf\omega=\frac{\phi}{t}=\frac{2\pi}{T}=2\pi f

Linear velocity vv [m/sm/s]: The distance of rotation in unit time.

v=st=2πRT=2πfR=ωRv=\frac{s}{t}=\frac{2\pi R}{T}=2\pi fR=\omega R

Rotational speed nn [r/s(rps), r/min(rpm)r/s(rps),\ r/min(rpm)]: The number of rotation in unit time.

n=f=1T1[r/s]=60[r/min]n=f=\frac{1}{T} \qquad 1[r/s]=60[r/min]

ω=2πn[r/s]=2πn[r/min]60v=2πnR\omega=2\pi \cdot n[r/s]=\frac{2\pi \cdot n[r/min]}{60}\\ v=2\pi \cdot n\cdot R

To be continued.🍑
